AccuAir announced the development of its “i-Level” app at the 2011 SEMA Show and yielded an overwhelming response. Scheduled for release in 2012, the “i-Level” app will give users full control over their Air Suspension System through a iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and eventually Android devices. The app will be designed to look and operate very similar to the popular e-Level TouchPad interface, yet the iPhone and Android’s vast capabilities will allow for expanded features limited only by YOUR imaginations. That’s right, AccuAir has started their first-ever enthusiast-based Development Team to share thoughts, ideas, and suggestions for exactly how the “i-Level” app should look and perform.

AccuAir expects the “i-Level” app to be used alongside one of the existing hard-wired interfaces like the TouchPad or Rocker Switch, but a full feature-set and more is scheduled for the exciting new e-Level accessory. Some key features currently scheduled for the “i-Level” app are listed below:
-
Down-loadable for FREE through the App Store.
-
Utilizes WIFI to communicate with a new wireless receiver that will plug-n-play to the e-Level ECU.
-
Primary app features will be compatible with all existing e-Level systems (some advanced app features may require a FREE ECU firmware update by AccuAir).
Primary “i-Level” app features:
-
Select or save from the e-Level system’s three automatic height settings.
-
Manually adjust the height of all four corners of the vehicle.
-
Select the e-Level’s “All-Down” function for parking.
-
Menu driven selection of e-Level system features.
-
Menu driven system diagnostics with “push” notifications.
Proposed Advanced “i-Level” app features:
-
Tank pressure display
-
Compressor status display.
-
Real-time vehicle height display (% of travel, or inches based on reference point)

The “i-Level” Development Team:
“We have had endless requests for this product which tells me that our user-base likely has many ideas for how they think the app should look and operate. Getting our users involved in the development process will guarantee that we create one app that meets everyone’s needs.” Co-Owner, Reno Heon
Becoming a part of the elite development team requires first signing up here http://eepurl.com/g0wYj. Applicants will fill out the questionnaire and the most valuable applicants will become part of the “i-Level” Development Team. Members will get to vote on design decisions throughout the process, add comments related to the development, and have the opportunity to become part of the BETA Test Team in mid-2012.

The Perfect Blend of Old School Looks with New School Technology

When it comes to air suspension, Rod & Custom magazine Editor Rob Fortier has definitely been around the block AND back. He’s owned everything from daily drivers to full custom show cars, all with different levels and degrees of air suspension setups. For his ‘47 Fleetline project being built at Jimenez Bros, Rob chose the complete e-Level Air Management system paired with our all-in-one eXo Mounts and documented the install for all to see. During the install Rob noted:
“…the AccuAir eXo e-Level system is by far one of the most user-friendly you’re going to find on the market – and it works, just like it’s supposed to!”
Stay tuned for the complete install online at www.rodandcustommagazine.com.

“Low is a Lifestyle”
Not a bad moto to live by, and our friends over at StanceWorks take their “Low” VERY seriously! When it came time to equip the StanceWorks Mini Clubman with an air management that would stand the test of time (and the serious miles these guys clock driving to shows all across the country), of course they looked no further than a complete AccuAir e-Level setup. After putting this thing through the wringer for a couple thousand miles, check out what Andrew had to say about his AccuAir driving experience firsthand. This install and review really does speak for itself, and even though a picture is worth a 1,000 words – these beautiful shots might just leave you speechless!

The StanceWorks MINI Cooper Clubman was in need of a complete air management overhaul. As these guys clock some serious miles to meets and shows all over the country, not only did they need something dependable, but they also wanted something that looked just as good and would be worthy of the StanceWorks chariot. Andrew opted for the complete e-Level Air Management Package with the eXo Mount system to get both the function and form he was after. You don’t see too many air bagged Mini Coopers and you see even less, ‘bagged Clubmans, so it was definitely a cool project to say the least. Follow along with the build over on the StanceWorks blog, and stay tuned for the completed photoshoot and review.

Two Covers In The Same Month
That’s right, TWO AccuAir Equipped vehicles made their way onto the covers of the two largest truck publications, in the very same month. Milo Reyna built this 1985 C-10 for his wife Sara, and Michael Matamoros laid out a new body Bowtie on some giant billet 26s. Besides for having the same truck club in common, they both chose to enjoy their rides to the fullest and install our AccuAir e-Level control systems. Both of these killer trucks debuted at SEMA 2010, sporting the very latest in top-of-the-line AccuAir Air Management, and both we’re well received by the Editors in attendance.
Check out these killer Chevy’s in Street Trucks and Truckin’ Magazines.

AccuAir in Japan!
The AccuAir phenomenon has spanned both the Pacific and the Atlantic, with dealers all over the globe offering their customers the very best in air management. We’ve made a huge splash and exploded into the European, German, and VIP car markets, so it was only a matter of time before our Air Suspension technology took hold in Japan. At this year’s Yokohama Hot Rod Custom show, AccuAir had a few feature cars on hand, including Kirk Hammett’s (Metallica’s Guitarist) 1936 Ford Coupe built by Cole Foster from Salinas Boys. We also had AccuAir Japan dealers on hand offering and demonstrating e-Level and other AccuAir products to their customers. Luckily we were able to snag one of their translated brochures as a cool souvenir before they were gone!
